On December 7th, I saw Tiny Idea at Brooklyn's Union Hall. They are a sketch comedy trio, that I found from an Instagram suggestion.[1]

The first video of them I saw is probably their most popular,
"Can you take a photo of
us?".
They remind me a bit of Netflix's "I think you should leave". They lean more into
absurd than cringe, though. A dash of WKUK?
Just give their videos a go, they are a click away. I am far from an expert in comedy to rate
their thing, or categorize it. I can only say that I enjoy their sketches. :)
And really, how can you dislike a reference to Love Actually, with bit of modern commentary,
and a neurotic wife?
On the live show in particular: it was hilarious.
They said the presentation was all new material. Highlights for me were the man with "the
most confident face" but a not-so-confident body, the theater kids about to graduate high
school, and the Swedish gym instructor.
The absolute best: a play for middle schoolers, that reminded me of educational movies in The
Simpsons (starring Troy McClure).[2]
I took a bunch of pictures on the way there, but I looked at them now and found them
boring.
I tried to combine them to make the post shorter, but I still felt it was pretty meh.
So, this is all I have to share:

Before I forget, they had an opening stand up that was really good. Took me half a
minute to "get" what the girl was going for, but then I just couldn't stop laughing.
To wrap up: the show was awesome, these three guys rock, and I will definitely try to see them
live again. They are even better than on video.
